Hello Hulme Hippodrome

My final year project investigated the impact that participation the arts has on community life. Hulme Hippodrome in Manchester has fallen into a state of disrepair. With help from the local community, with whom I engaged through organising a number of collaborative workshops, I developed a proposal for the restoration and extension of the building. I was keen to explore the idea of \'community theatre\' quite literally, by including a residential aspect in my design.
